Rensource Energy, Africa’s fastest growing solar power provider for the Commercial and Industrial Sector (C&I) announced the installation of a 300kWp Carport solar energy for the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria at Abuja. This installation would generate 436MWh annually and offset 4,293 metric tonnes of CO2 over the project’s lifetime. Also, this installation contributes to the advancement of the net zero target by 2050.
This state-of-the-art carport solution was built to power the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria (IHVN’s) facility with the aim of reducing their dependency on diesel while providing a clean, affordable, and reliable source of power.
