Across Africa, there are many places electricity can’t reach or is poorly reached. As a matter of fact, supplying reliable and affordable electricity to Sub-Saharan African countries will be a challenge. Therefore, over the past few years, solar hybrid systems emerged as a solution to supply poor grids and off grids sites in electricity.

Mohammed has worked more than 10 years in the Middle East in power and energy fields, he was involved in technical support, project management, and business development for many countries in the region. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s in renewable energy engineering from, he is also a certified solar professional and project manager.

Speaker 2: Victorien Delangue, Sales manager – Southern Africa, Elum Energy.

an Energy automation company providing turnkey Power plant controllers for hybrid and distributed energy systems integrating renewables with energy storage with projects in more than 30 countries. Before working at Elum, he worked in data analysis for micro-grid solutions and managed the implementation of load forecasting and predictive maintenance on insulated hybrid microgrids in South East Asia.
