Journées sur l’accès à l’énergie renouvelable au Burundi

As part of their efforts to stimulate the achievement of SDG 7 in Burundi, the World Bank and the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE), will jointly organise the third edition of the Burundi Renewable Energy Access Days in Burundi, from 15 to 16 October 2024 in Bujumbura.

The event is under the patronage of the Government of Burundi, the Ministry of Hydraulics, Energy and Mines (MINHEM) and the Directorate General of Energy.

The Burundi Renewable Energy Access Days is the country’s leading energy sector meeting

1. assessing emerging considerations for Burundi’s strategy on universal access to electricity coupled with the climate agenda, and
2. providing a platform for knowledge exchange, networking and showcasing renewable energy products and services.
