In Africa, meteocontrol currently supports more than 2.5 GWp across around 2,300 plants, with over 1,200 blue’Logs in operation. South Africa is a particularly strong growth market, where the installed base has grown from 52 MWp to 2 GWp over the past ten years, reflecting a nearly fortyfold increase. For customers in the region, the focus is on reliable plant performance, grid-compliant control, transparent operational data and scalable asset oversight for both utility-scale and C&I portfolios.
