Commercial & Industrial Solar and Energy Storage | Democratic Republic of the Congo

Role Purpose

Build high-value relationships across the DRC solar and energy ecosystem, generate qualified C&I and ESS project opportunities, and enable leading partners to deliver projects using our inverter and battery solutions in the DRC and wider region.

Our product portfolio supports residential, commercial and industrial, and utility-scale renewable energy applications. With a strong focus on innovation, quality and long-term partnerships, we work closely with EPCs, installers, project developers and large energy consumers to deliver reliable, efficient and intelligent energy solutions. As we expand our presence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and surrounding markets, we are seeking an experienced professional to develop strategic relationships and accelerate the adoption of our inverter and battery technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic partnerships: Identify, engage and develop long-term relationships with the leading solar EPCs, installers, engineering firms and project developers in the region.

  • Lead generation: Build direct relationships with mines, industrial companies and other large energy consumers to identify solar, hybrid and energy-storage opportunities.

  • Industry engagement: Establish relationships with relevant mining, energy, business and renewable-energy associations, as well as other influential stakeholders.

  • Partner enablement: Connect qualified end-user opportunities with suitable current or future partners and support them in progressing projects toward successful delivery.

  • Solution development: Work with internal technical and commercial teams to position the appropriate inverter and battery solutions for each opportunity.

  • Pipeline management: Maintain accurate records of target accounts, contacts, opportunities, project stages, next actions and forecasts; provide timely market and sales reports.

  • Market intelligence: Track major projects, competitor activity, procurement trends, regulations and emerging opportunities across the DRC and surrounding markets.

  • Representation: Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, site visits, conferences, exhibitions and partner events, with regular travel as required.

Measures of Success

  • Network growth: Strong relationships established with the region’s most influential EPCs, installers, mines, large energy users and associations.

  • Commercial pipeline: A healthy, accurately managed pipeline of qualified C&I and ESS opportunities generated for partner development.

  • Project conversion: Increasing number and value of partner-led projects specifying and deploying the company’s inverters and batteries.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Industry experience: Proven experience in solar energy, energy storage systems, electrical engineering, technical sales or business development.

  • Market capability: Experience developing complex B2B relationships and opportunities; familiarity with mining, industrial energy users or the DRC market is a strong advantage.

  • Technical foundation: A degree or professional background in electrical engineering, renewable energy, business or a related field is preferred.
