The Africa Solar Industry Association (AFSIA) and the Renewable Energy Industries Association of Malawi (REIAMA) reaffirmed their strong collaboration by renewing their Strategic Membership Agreement during the EPD Rwanda annual conference, held in Kigali from September 3-4, 2025. The renewed agreement paves the way for enhanced collaboration and joint activities in the months ahead.

Among others, a program for financial readiness program for developers in Malawi, currently under preparation. This aligns with REIAMA’s mission “to accelerate access to affordable, reliable and sustainable energy in Malawi through research, advocacy, collaboration and capacity building.”

AFSIA, a non‐governmental solar trade organization, works to grow the solar footprint across the African continent by bringing together stakeholders from both public and private sectors. Its mission includes strengthening the local solar industry and facilitating business opportunities for its members.
