Job Summary:

Wetility, a South Africa-based residential hybrid solar technology and fintech company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Administrator will need to have superb communication and administration skills. The HR Administrator will handle all written and verbal employee queries with the utmost confidentiality. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, drawing up HR documents, assisting with recruitment, assisting with BBBEE and reporting, organizing HR events and HR onboarding and offboarding duties, updating company policies and ensuring they comply with labour laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing internal arrangements such as onboarding, training sessions, and team-building events.
  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Prepare HR documents, like offer letters, employment contracts, onboarding information and offboarding information
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics
  • Assist Recruitment by advertising vacancies, reviewing applications and shortlisting cvs, arranging and booking interviews based on availability of internal and external parties, conduct reference checks and provide ongoing feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Updating the organogram and staff compliment report monthly
  • Reviewing company policies bi-annually with the HR Manager and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all personnel queries.
  • Responsible for developing a work skills plan and submitting the annual WSP/ATR reports
  • Responsible for Employment Equity submissions
  • Responsible for ensuring training is booked and scheduled according to the Work skills plan and annual development plan
  • Updating work schedules in compliance with the BCEA and LRA
  • Any other HR administrative tasks

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in human resources, management or similar.
  • Proven experience in an HR or administrative role.
  • Proven experience in WSP/ATR reporting
  • Proven experience in BBBEE
  • Excellent telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of labor laws and practices.
  • The ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be approachable and helpful.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Good ethical judgment.
