To help us achieve this, we are seeking a highly motivated Generalist Strategy Associate to join our Strategy and Emerging Business department.

As a Generalist Strategy Associate, you will support Wetility’s success by contributing to effective cross-functional project delivery, providing extensive research and analysis, assisting with identifying revenue growth opportunities and helping to ensure company-wide alignment to strategic objectives.

This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strategic acumen and interpersonal finesse. The Generalist Strategy Associate will work across all areas of the business and report to Wetility’s Chief of Staff & Director of Strategy and Emerging Business.

Responsibilities

Strategy

• Support the Strategy and Emerging Business department in formulating corporate and departmental strategies to accelerate growth and deliver long-term value.
• Contribute to establishing and implementing end-to-end business processes, criteria, and KPIs to drive innovative operating models.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify growth and optimization opportunities, providing recommendations based on insights into solar energy markets.
• Work on rapidly changing strategic projects and initiatives, providing deep research and analysis expertise. Such projects may include a new product launch, a new B2B partnership, a customer journey revamp, etc.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, driving continuous improvement and strategic growth at Wetility.

Project Management and Communication

• Assist in designing project roadmaps and strategic plans, incorporating KPIs, timelines, and resource allocation to drive growth.
• Support in managing cross-functional projects and strategic transformations, ensuring efficient resource management and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with project team members and stakeholders to foster collaboration and accountability.
• Help to prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations to communicate progress, results, and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.

Business Growth

• Support business development efforts to expand Wetility’s emerging business pipeline and foster client relationships.
• Assist with the preparation of proposals, brochures and other materials for upcoming business opportunities in the B2B opportunities and special projects.
• Deepen Wetility’s existing strategic partnerships through meticulous management and execution of special projects.

Requirements

• A postgraduate degree in Politics, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in research, project management, strategic planning, strategy formulation, and / or driving business performance.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen, ability to learn and an understanding of business development and growth strategies.
• Ability to cultivate strong client relationships, effectively managing key client and partner interactions to ensure the delivery of quality and value.
• Exceptional critical thinking abilities focused on solution development, constructing logical arguments or analyses, synthesizing complex information, and proactively identifying or anticipating risks and challenges.
• A relentless drive for results, coupled with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with numerous competing deadlines.
• Strong organizational prowess, including the capability to devise, implement, and monitor comprehensive project management plans with clear action plans to achieve objectives, optimize resource utilization, measure performance, and evaluate outcomes.
• Ability to express complex concepts and projects effectively through visual, verbal, and written reports and presentations to diverse audiences.
• Outstanding communication skills, enabling effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
