In January 2020, floating solar in Africa came into the global spotlights with the announcement of the winning bidder for the 4 MW_AC  floating PV system to be built on Le Rocher lagoon in Mahé in Seychelles. This IPP project is a notable achievement for the continent and for the entire world as it pushes further both technical and commercial boundaries.
