Aaron is the CEO of the Africa Minigrid Developers Association (AMDA), representing the decentralized utility sector as a partner in progress for national and global efforts to electrify Africa. Aaron advises governments, donors, financiers, fund managers and consultancies on energy planning, offgrid business models and finance.

AMDA is building the largest detailed dataset on minigrid costs, performance and trends in the world, enabling investors and policymakers to more fruitfully invest in, regulate, plan for and otherwise grow the sector.

Aaron also serves on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE), a global industry association representing the entire rural energy value chain.
