About the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design: Develop detailed designs for combined solar and BESS systems, including schematic diagrams, layout drawings, and electrical design calculations.
  • Technical Analysis: Perform technical analysis and feasibility studies to determine the most efficient and cost-effective system configurations.
  • Component Selection: USe Ja solar panels and system and compare with other system components based on project requirements and industry standards.
  • Simulation and Modeling: Use simulation software to model system performance, conduct energy yield assessments, and optimize system design.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Project Documentation: Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and user manuals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Business development and Sales Tean, installation teams, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and address any technical issues.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in solar and BESS technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of design practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance checks on designs and installations to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
  • Cost comparative approach

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing solar and BESS systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Homer, ETAP), and simulation tools. Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and energy storage technologies.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications will be good.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
