B. The Role in Context
What You’ll Do
As our Office IT Administrator, you’ll be the go-to person for all things IT. From ensuring the Wi-Fi works like a dream to supporting staff in the office and remotely, your role will be pivotal in keeping our team connected and productive. We expect you to not only handle issues as they arise but also proactively identify opportunities to improve systems, enhance productivity, and future-proof our IT infrastructure.
IT Infrastructure & Support
- Managing and troubleshooting Wi-Fi and network systems to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Providing technical support for both local and remote staff, across PCs and Macs.
- Maintaining and setting up conference and video conference systems (hardware and software).
- Providing technical support for peripheral devices, such as printers, scanners, and other hardware.
Systems & Policies
- Administering Microsoft products, including Office licenses, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
- Developing, updating, and implementing IT policies, ensuring alignment with security best practices.
- Leading initiatives to enhance IT security and compliance across the company.
Productivity & Development
- Organizing and delivering workshops and training sessions on IT tools and systems.
- Exploring and recommending productivity tools to help the team work smarter.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve IT processes and user experience.
Procurement & Maintenance
- Procuring and maintaining IT equipment and systems to meet the company’s needs.
- Ensuring all devices and software are up to date and secure.
C.Who you are
We’re looking for someone who:
- Knows Their Stuff: You’re experienced with Microsoft business environments (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams) and have a solid understanding of IT security principles.
- Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: Whether it’s troubleshooting network issues or setting up a Mac, you’re quick to diagnose and fix.
- Proactive: You don’t wait for problems to come to you—you’re always thinking ahead and finding ways to improve systems and processes.

What You’ll Need
- Proven experience in IT administration, user support, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft products and business environments.
- Experience with both PC and Mac systems.
- Familiarity with IT security standards and best practices.
- Bonus: Experience with video conferencing systems and IT hardware procurement.

- Developing and implementing IT policies for Microsoft products.
- Leading a project to onboard new tools or streamline workflows within the Microsoft ecosystem.

E. Time Commitment
This is a full-time role and whilst the normal working week is 40 hours, it is expected that the ideal candidate will be prepared be available in case of IT emergencies out of office hours.
