Huanyu Energy is a trusted supplier of solar panels, inverters, and batteries for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. We currently distribute brands including Solargiga, Deye, Solis, Sinotec, and Oliter. Our office is based in Midrand, Johannesburg. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Sales Representative specializing in C&I sales to join our team and provide our EPC customers with exceptional energy solutions!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Strategy Execution:
  • Follow the company’s sales and lead generation strategy to generate quality EPC and installation customers and drive growth in the C&I and BESS product segments.
  • Identify, target, and engage potential clients, developing customized solutions to meet their energy needs.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, consistently tracking progress and provide feedbacks to the sales manager as needed.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, CEOs, engineers, and procurement teams within client companies.
  • Provide consultative sales support, helping clients understand the benefits of our solar and BESS offerings.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and project delivery.
  • Market Analysis and Product Expertise:
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and competitor activities within the solar and energy storage sectors.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our C&I and BESS products, leveraging this knowledge to educate clients and influence buying decisions.
  • Gather customer feedback to help inform product development and improvements.
  • Reporting and Administration:
  • Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market insights to the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, deal progress, and forecasts in the CRM system.
  • Provide periodic updates and reports on market dynamics, industry updates, and competitive activity.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience within the solar or energy storage industry, with a strong focus on the C&I and BESS segments.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar PV and BESS systems, with the ability to explain complex products to a diverse audience.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with an aptitude for building long-term relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, with a proactive and goal-oriented approach.
  • Education:
  • Minimum diploma in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in sales or renewable energy solutions are a plus.
  • Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Must have a driver’s license and own transportation.
