South Africa is on massive procurement drive for renewables, with ministerial determinations for procuring 4 800 MW of wind, 2 000 MW of solar PV and 513 MW of battery energy storage capacity within 3 years approved. This session will delineate how developers can successfully bid in Africa’s largest renewable energy market, opportunities for investors and what needs to be done to successfully implement this tremendous procurement drive.
