The region is endowed with abundant natural resources\, including significant solar\, hydro and gas reserves\, presenting unparalleled opportunities for sustainable energy development. \nKey projects\, such as the ongoing expansion of the West African Power Pool\, the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline\, solar farm projects in Mauritania\, Togo\, and Mali\, and BESS development across the region are setting the stage for an exciting shift in the energy landscape. \nWA-ECS 24 continues the crucial discussions from the Africa Energy Forum with a focus on the regional level\, directly engaging stakeholders.
